Ask me anything   Hello, my name is Tata and I try to make sense of the commonplace and the everyday. I'm an aspiring and frustrated photojournalist and these are my photos.

Kuchay Dumpling Filling and Xiao Long Bao at Dong Bei
Hats off to Nat Bucag for bringing us to Dong Bei in Ongpin. It was a long walk to this one obscure street (Yuchengco St.), got to this small hole-in-the-wall restaurant, and waited for a while to get in. There was this food tour group inside, so they didn’t have any space left inside. Binitin pa kami. Hihi.
Lo and behold, that small hole-in-the-wall served the best dumplings evaaaar! They were making them right in front of us, so we took the liberty of taking photos. Devoured several pieces of xiao long bao & dumplings. Also finished a bowl of beef noodle soup by myself. HGNGHHH!! And it only cost Php750 (total) for a pig-out of four people. GAAAAAH. Ongpin, Y U SO FAR AWAY?
