Eid ul-Fitr, August 30, 2011
Today’s national holiday and the much-awaited long weekend, all to commemorate the last day of Ramadan. This was taken on the outside grounds of the Golden Mosque in Quiapo. I decided not to go inside the temple and shoot out of discretion for holy space.
It’s an awesome day for Muslims all over the world, first a Mubarak-free Libya (almost), and a violence-free Ramadan for Syria.
